Gunsmithing Only

He put the wrong style barrel on my rifle and refused to admit his mistake. I paid and left, but I'm now stuck with a gun that is useless to me.
He was too busy chatting with guys hanging out in the store and wasn't really listening. I should have left with my gun.
He might be good fixing grandpa's shotgun, but don't take him you expensive rifle.

I took my 3 screw rugar .41mag into him to have a bur machined from the end of the barrel, upon picking the pistol up I knew I was going to have to ship the pistol to another gunsmith to have the pistol fixed correctly as he informed me he could not remove the barrel. He had "filed" or Sawed the end of my my barrel off and through the front site. He has de-valued my pistol and I have now had to resort to having a new barrel put on it, I had chose this "mastergunsmith" due to reviews and proximity of nearness so I would not have to ship my pistol again as to this is reason I feel it was damaged to start with. I have contacted gunsmithing twice since recieving my pistol back, to voice my despleasure in poor workmanship, and ask for my money back, I have been blown off both times, I did not find the "workmanship" that was done up to standards. I have finally resorted to contacting my lawyer, and have turned gunsmithing only into the Better Business bureau. What was done to the end of my pistol, was not milling, nor acceptable in any way shape or form.

Been using Mike and his great staff for years for everything from FFL transfers, trigger work, commission sales, or good-old plain advice. Recommended by a good friend, they have never let me down and are the quintessential small-business shop with all that entails. Honest quotes, fair prices and excellent workmanship make this my favorite place when dealing with firearms. If only their odd hours catered more with my work schedule, haha. In all seriousness, if I know I need to see Mike or his staff for anything gunsmithing related, I will schedule time off of my work schedule for that sole purpose- they are that good.

They did an incredible job restoring a 120+ year old Winchester shotgun that I dug up at a pawnshop. They also restored my Grandfather's Winchester shotgun for me after I inherited it. They built a 1911A1 for me out of parts I dug up here and there. They have also fixed more than a few basket cases of mine over the years. They have always treated me right and have gone above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the work. Mike has been doing all of my gunsmith work since he first opened the shop. He does restoration work that I wouldn't have thought could be done by any gunsmith. I've been

shooting for very close to 70 years and I still get to the range at least every two weeks.

Mike has perfected the trigger pull on every target gun in my rather extensive collection of target rifles and pistols and has assembled some collectable firearms not found in any catalog, and as always, his work is excellent. The service, the friendliness, and the work is consistently way way above average.
