Happy Engine

I have used Happy Engine for many years. They stand behind their guarantees, even when my daughter didn't follow their caution after her brake job! She was heavy footed, so after I passed on the warning to her to go easy on the brakes following a disk replacement, she may have done it for a short while, but she had to go back when the disk was warped. Happy Engine replaced it again at no charge, standing by their warranty! Thank you!

I brought my cars to Happy Engine a number of times. They are very nice. BUT, I just figured out why their charges always added up to more than I expected. They charge you for a 'diagnostic' to 'make sure' what's wrong, THEN they charge for the repair. Every other shop I've been to only charges for a 'diagnostic' if you DON'T have the repair done. So, HAPPY ENGINE CHARGES TWICE FOR REPAIRS. Then, when I had a problem with one of their repairs, they refused to cover it under their warranty. The repair didn't work the second time either. I finally figured it out myself. These guys don't know what they're doing.

STAY AWAY!!!! I'm a full time BIO student and my first car broke down:( i took it to Happy Engine BIG MISTAKE! I'm warning everyone so you wont have to go through what i did>>

THIS IS MY HORRIBLE experience give you guys the pin points of my experience

**Told my dad one price for the work than came out saying its going to be 3000MORE

**When we told them were taking the car somewhere else the broke lots of my car lines under my hood, my new mechanic showed my mother and me before we left the car with him what so called "Happy" Engine did to my car.

**What "Happy" Engine charged me 7000+ , my NEW MECHANIC charged me 2600.



PLEASE BE CAREFUL if you are not getting your car fixed here after u get the price remove it ASAP because they might do your car like they did mine, and we're are nice ppl there is no reason for this!!!

I brought in my 1998 Chevy Camaro for a transmission repair. After spending over $3,000 rebuilding it, I expected my car running like new. Unfortunately this was not the case, the original problem of transmission slippage was still intermitently occuring. I returned the vehicle to them to give them a chance to fix it, but they insisted that there is nothing wrong with the car. I could have taken them to small claims court but i just did not want to deal with the aggravation and loss of time. When it was clear that i was'nt going to get anywhere with them, i traded my car in for a reliable Japanese sports car. CONSUMERS BEWARE!
