Dental Sealants
Sealants are a protective coating applied to help “fill in” the deep grooves on children’s back teeth (their permanent molar and premolar teeth). Children often have difficulty keeping these teeth clean due to their limited dexterity and how far back these teeth are in the mouth. In fact, 80% of cavities in children are diagnosed on their molars and premolars. Sealants function to “seal out” food, acid, and decay-causing bacteria in order to help prevent cavities.

Fillings
Tooth colored composite fillings are free of mercury so you can rest easy knowing that your health is our top priority. White fillings are not only safe, but they also give a more natural looking result than traditional silver amalgam fillings.
Veneers
If you’re unhappy with your smile due to unsightly spacing, chips, discoloration, or misshapen teeth, dental veneers can help. Veneers can camouflage your teeth’s natural imperfections and give you the beautiful, confident smile you’ve always wanted.
Crowns
A crown is a full coverage, cosmetic restoration utilized to strengthen a tooth or improve its shape. Crowns can be made of all porcelain, all metal (gold), or a combination of the two. All porcelain crowns are generally the material of choice due to their superior esthetics and strength.

Periodontal Surgery
Deep Cleaning
The first thing we do is review effective oral hygiene techniques and discuss ways you can improve your current home care routine. Next, we mechanically remove the bacteria, plaque, and tartar that has built up on your teeth’s root surfaces. This process is called scaling and root planning (SRP) and is done with a combination of hand instruments and an ultrasonic (a high-frequency vibrating instrument). Occasionally, we then apply antimicrobial products and/or antibiotics to the affected areas in order to assist your body in healing those deep pockets and to help avoid the need for periodontal surgery.

Dentures
Having a beautiful and confident smile is important for all patients. We work very hard to create natural, comfortable dentures so all of our patients can function well and feel good when they smile.
Overdentures
Dental implant overdentures (also called click-in or snap-in dentures) are a cost-effective alternative to traditional dentures that utilizes strategically placed implants for added retention. Snap-in dentures are removable by the patient for easy cleaning, but offer superior stability when compared to conventional dentures. Dental implants can eliminate the need for the palate portion of top dentures (the part that covers the roof of the mouth), thus helping to reduce gagging sensations and diminished ability to taste food. Overdentures can also make loose lower dentures more stable, keeping them from floating around in your mouth. Click-in overdentures can help to increase your confidence, comfort, and function, thereby greatly increasing your quality of life.

Dental Implants
Dental implants are currently the best option to replace missing and broken teeth. Americans are living longer than ever and oftentimes they cannot maintain their natural smiles for the entirety of their life. A dental implant is an artificial tooth root in the shape of a post that is strategically positioned in the jawbone. Dental implants are typically made of titanium (the same material many hip and knee replacements are made of) and are usually well tolerated by the human body. After the implant post is placed, a replacement tooth is attached to the post.
