DeMolay is an organization dedicated to preparing young men to lead successful, happy, and productive lives. Basing its approach on timeless principles and practical, hands-on experience, DeMolay opens doors for young men aged 12 to 21 by developing the civic awareness, personal responsibility and leadership skills so vitally needed in society today. DeMolay combines this serious mission with a fun approach that builds important bonds of friendship among members in more than 1,000 chapters worldwide.

Services/Products

DeMolay is a youth leadership group, founded in 1919 for young men age 12-21. It is the premiere leadership organization of its' kind in the world. Teens involved in DeMolay can earn scholarships, recognition and awards. These encourage young men to run for local, state and international office. State and local competitions in sports, speaking and other activities provide opportunity for travel and new friendships... and friendships in DeMolay can last a lifetime. Mentoring of peers, and older members serving as role models for younger members are what make DeMolay work. Advisors do simply that: advise; because the youth truly call the shots in DeMolay. That makes the group unique. It's not the advisors with the lessons to teach - it's what the members learn from their experiences. Teaching leadership skills by putting young men in charge of their own organization, DeMolay truly puts the youth in control. Young men an their own activities - anything from sports to dances, travel to awards. Favorites are Paintball, Kickball, Swimming - and spending long weekends at their private lake property in northern Wisconsin.

Wisconsin DeMolay awarded over $36,000 in scholarships to college students in 2012 as they do each year - many students are pursing higher level degrees. Scholarships are available throughout your college career. The real attraction for members, is that THEY make the decisions. Of course parents like the positive values, and the scholarship opportunities. Members learn personal responsibility, mentoring, peer respect, and keeping their commitments to others - not as outright lessons, but rather from positive influence of more senior members as role models -and because they learn by making the decisions, calling the shots, and deciding what they'll do and how to do it.
