Hideaway Inn

Stay far far away from this place. I would give it negative stars if I could. They are crooks. They tell you what you want to hear and agree with what you say to get your money & then kick you out. We went in on Monday late night/ Tuesday early am around 1230/1 am to ask their rates. She told us $50. We then asked her, what is the earliest we can check in to get the rest of Tuesday ( remember.. we were in there at 1 am so it was technically Tuesday) thru Wednesday morning to check out Wednesday at 11 am. She told us we could check in at 2 am to get it until Wednesday checkout. Since it was already 1am, we asked if there was any way we could check in an hour early. She agreed and said it was fine. We paid for our room and then went to unpack. The room was a decent size but smelled like nasty,stale smoke. The ground was filthy and had burn marks all over. The bathroom was moldy and the TV made an annoying buzzing sound the whole time it was on. We went to sleep right away & woke up the next morningand got ready to run some errands. As we were ggetting in the car, the owner lady asked us if we dropped off our key. We said no, we are just running some errands, we still have the room another night. After that, she flipped out. Told us we paid for one night and we had to get out. We tried to explain to her what she said just 9 hours before and she said that she never said anything like that. She continued screaming, in the middle of the parking lot in front of other people that were staying in other rooms and in front of our 8 month old son. She continued to scream, talk over us and call us names. She said she was calling the cops because she always has to deal with scums like us that try to get more nights then we paid for. Her "house keeper" also tried yelling at us and getting into our business. I tried taking the baby out of the car to help pack up our stuff and she questioned what I was doing and told me that both of us couldn't go into the room but also saying we needed to get out NOW! The owner stood in the room doorway while my boyfriend packed our stuff and I sat on a chair outside the room with our son. I stepped a foot into the room to tell my boyfriend to stop arguing with her because our son does not need to hear the yelling. She screamed in my ear while I was saying all this to him NOT HER & once again right in front of a baby. She refused to get another owner to talk to, didn't listen to anything we said, screamed at us and called us names in front of numerous other people. They are criminals, take advantage of you just to get their money for a dirty, stinky room. Donot let them take advantage of you or anyone you know!! Stay far far away. Just from her comment saying that she has dealt with tthis same situation from other people, right there shows that she is a thief & a liar.
