My car was stolen I took it to Jeff for repair of the collar and thermostat he had it for over a month and when he did quote me a price and told me my car would be fixed that following Monday my car was stolen from the shop that night because someone only fixed my starter and got the car running then parked it out front without fixing the collar my car was left in the street on 76th and Brown deer the following day when I didn’t get a call about my car I went to the shop without telling him I had my car we spoke about price and repairs when I asked to see my car he took me from the front of the shop to the back then told me he didn’t know where it was when I told him my car was stolen the day before he told me that he wasn’t responsible for it.

Jeff has been taking care of my cars for years now. I trust him to be honest. I have all my children's cars checked with him first. He is very reliable and does good work. The best shop ln the north side by far!

Jeff was very pushy to sell me another service which I didn't need. I didn't take it. We pretty much argued for a good 10 mins until he finally said, he will do what I asked. Isn't that how it's suppose to be? He's a mechanic, but he underestimated my knowledge about cars. I'm not a certified mechanic, but have been working on my cars since I knew how to drive (age 16). I only took my car there because my car shietted on me and Bridge happened to be the closest. Also because I didn't have a welding machine at home.



I had a clogged catalytic converter and Jeff tried selling me a diagnostic test for $50. $50 for a 5-10 min job? I brought my own catalytic converter for Jeff to replace the old, clogged one. 30 min job cutting old cat out and welding on new cat = $160. Rip-Off! I had no choice....Damn car wouldn't move faster than 5 mph and driving to the next shop would take ages.



Overall, the job was done, but for the cost, I wouldn't go back nor would recommend the shop to anyone else unless they feel like tossing $$$ away. Even the freaking car dealer doesn't charge $160 for a 30min job. If the car dealer wasn't so busy that day, I would've went there...

As a woman car repair is scarry. They were so nice, I had a big repair and they took the time to explain to me my issues. I was able to break down the repairs into 2 visits so that I could afford it. I had been to so many people before, and this was a real good experience!
