I am a first time homebuyer. I have been working towards the goal of homeownership for years now. Once I got my pre approval from another mortgage company I will not name I thought it would be smooth sailing. Not so much! It turned out the other company I had started working with was not familiar or knowledgeable on the type of mortgage products I needed. They basically wasted my time. I found myself starting from square one again, and then I was told that Investors Savings Bank home mortgage came highly recommended. I cannot describe the level of professionalism and constant follow through I received there. I worked with Kathy Schulhafer and her assistant Bill Gottas and both were a pleasure to work with. Even down to the wire I worked with Bill Mathis a senior loan specialist on getting the last of my documentation in for the underwriting process and they got it done. Kathy and her team are amazing and truly know what they are doing!!! They are also quite familiar with many types of products which is so helpful! I truly am so grateful to all of them at ISB Mortgage for making such a stressful process that much more pleasant!
