Ultimate Tanning

I went into ultimate tanning and told the woman behind the desk that I'd never used a tanning booth before. I asked her what she recommended for a first time user. She told me 10 minutes and also recommended a tan enhancement lotion for beginners. Even to me--a complete novice--10 minutes sounded like a little too much for the first time in the booth so I told her I would go 9 minutes. I am half Greek so I am not a terribly light skin tone and I rarely burn. She also tried to talk me into using a more extreme lotion but I thought I should use the beginning one and I am so glad I did because I burned horribly.



This place seemed totally clueless regarding new customers and how long they should tan. I really do not recommend this place at all.



The woman also had a lot of trouble getting the booth to turn on--I actually got undressed and dressed twice before she figured out how to do it. I don't know if she was just helping out her friend who actually works there--but the woman I saw was completely clueless.



When I called back the next day to see if I could get my money back for unused minutes (I won't be able to tan for as long as I thought I would due to this horrible burn), she would not do that. If I am still this burned tomorrow, I am seriously thinking of taking them to small claims court for my money back + pain and suffering.

Burned to a Crisp!

I have been tanning many places in town and Ultimate Tanning is by far the best tanning and full service salon. as for tanning, their prices are the best around and they have the most friendly staff. The staff is very helpful and they give you towels when you tan which is nice when you get out of the units. I also had my nails done there too, again great prices and they looked wonderful when they were done and the polish stayed for longer then it ever has, I got a french manicure. I am looking forward to soon doing a full a day spa package so I can try all the services they offer there like facials, massges and they even do hair and make up. If you are looking for a new salon for tanning, nails, hair, facials or massage then look no further and take it from me and go to Ultimate Tanning.
