Hickman McClaine & Associates, Inc. (AKA T Scott Hickman & Associates, Inc) is a consulting engineering firm which performs reserve evaluations, field studies, field development design, water flood design, water flood redevelopment design, EOR design, reservoir economic analysis, management consulting and expert witness testimony. We have significant reserve analysis experience in all of the U.S. producing basins, especially in evaluation of non-conventional reservoirs, particularly dry gas shales, wet gas shales, oil shales and coalbed methane. This is accomplished in a competent, cost effective manner. The average experience level of our staff exceeds 30 years with both major and independent oil company backgrounds. As HMA Engineers we are empirically focused. We source the most relevant internal and external data, apply analytics and identify the highest-value opportunities. We turn data into actionable insights and improved performance. As Experienced HMA Engineers we know that achieving impact from advanced analytics may start with data, but it must be matched with deep understanding of industry dynamics and functional best practices. Our experienced team of engineers has on average over 30 years of engineering experience. This allows us to identify the biggest opportunities – and to anticipate and address potential problems. Our goal is to provide the oil and gas industry with the unbiased interpretations and difficult judgements that lead to practical solutions of reservoir problems. Our qualified engineers provide the combination of experience and expertise which allow for the determination of hydrocarbon recoveries and reserve values. We engage only in petroleum consulting, thereby meeting the industry's requirement for independent third party reserve evaluations and fair market value opinions. We use a variety of commercial and proprietary computer software applications including ARIES, PHDWin and OGRE for economic evaluations and Petra for geological applications.
