Caralot Kennel

Caralot Kennel is the only place I will board my dogs. The owner and her staff are so friendly and really inviting.



Before I found Caralot I would board my dog and she would be pulling and tugging on her leash to get back to me. She would lose weight because she would barely eat the whole time I was gone. It always ruined my trip because I was so worried about her.



But now when we walk into Caralot she is full of wags and wiggles. She loves it there and feels at home. I'm able to pack her blanket, bed and a toy and I feel that this helps comfort her. And she always finishes her breakfast and dinner! She never looks back when I hand her over to Cindy, kind of makes me sad! LOL But I know that she feels safe and at home there and that is why I will always use Caralot Kennels.

We use Caralot Kennel for our 3 dogs and have been very satisfied with the care they receive each time.

Cindy is very knowledgeable regarding the care and treatment of dogs, demonstrates warmth and professionalism, and readily shares valuable tips on canine health and behavior.

Our dogs are returned to us in excellent condition. Initially, our German Shepherd was anxious with separation but he quickly adjusted and now shows absolutely no anxiety when we arrive at the facility.

The lady who runs Caralot is very sweet and friendly, but the facilities are absolutely terrible. We left our two dogs and my Mom's four dogs here, all have been vaccinated. One of our dogs came back with a horrible case of diarrhea and now another has developed kennel cough. Caralot is very affordable, but we're paying for it in vet bills now. Will NEVER use this place again.

I walked in and gagged at the smell of urine. I was really in a rush and had been told this place was safe so I thought maybe I had just walked in at the wrong time. I was only going to be gone two nights so I ended up leaving my dog there. When I came back to pick up my dog I realized the smell was permanent from the low maintenance. He as well as many other dogs (as I later found out) developed kennel cough. My dog was vaccinated but so overexposed he still contracted it. I also paid for the $10 bath at the end, and my dog came out smelling worse than when I took him. I would recommend the ASPCA shut this place down.
