This place is not what it sounds like--a specialized, pampering salon. After making the appointment on the phone, I was looking forward to my pedicure after being told that they like to take their time and really pamper you. The 1 1/2 hour pedicure turned into over 2 hours, which is a really long time to be sitting there, and I did not leave feeling pampered at all. I was not offered even a glass of water, and was subjected to a fair amount of profanity and not very enjoyable conversation throughout the entire pedicure. This was in addition to the manicurist taking a smoke break right before working on my feet and was subjected to the smell of smoke for the first 15 minutes. I tried to keep a good frame of mind, remembering that everyone has different standards and expectations, and that at least she spoke english and wasn't talking to coworkers the whole time, but still, it was not enjoyable. I did get the best pumice stone treatment I've ever had, however, she nicked one of the corners of my toe near the toenail, which bled, she sprayed it with antiseptic, but within a day or two, it was infected at home and I had to treat it for 4-5 days before it healed (I'm happy it healed and wasn't anything serious). The building or rooms were very dark, small and cramped. Overall, sad to say, I won't be going back, and would definitely not recommend this place to others. The massage place next door is wonderful, but go to another place for your nails.
