Tina's Alterations

Avoid like the plague! Getting a dress hemmed cost almost as much as the dress! And when Tina was questioned as to why so much, attitude was given and told to “check other places”. She was very dismissive. Don’t care if she does good work quick, will never go back! A very unhappy customer.

We have been here before and she has done great work. This time was a disaster. My daughter made an appointment for a consultation for her wedding dress over a month ago(Tina said she was very busy this was the earliest appointment available) When we arrived at the store it was closed. We called her, she was annoyed that we were there for the appt. that Tina made and told us we were lucky she picked up the phone. She was rushing us threw the appt. because we interrupted her cooking. While my daughter was putting her gown on I showed her the detachable train needed an eyehook. She said I will do that right now. She was done with in 3 minutes. My daughter was trying to tell her what she wanted done, Tina said "be quiet, I know what I'm doing." Then her husband came and sat down with us, never said a word and kept staring at my daughter. It made all of us very uncomfortable. We kept asking how much it would cost and all she would say "its a lot of work" We kept insisting she give us a quote with that she became mad because she thought we were there for a fitting, not a consult. We told her when we made the appointment, again when we arrived, and during the appt. She told us a price. We said thank you & left. She calls my daughter a few hours later and left a voice mail that says "This is Tina, what you did was not right. You interrupted my cooking, did not turn off the lights, did not pay for the eyehook, and wasted my time with a consult. its not right" We were floored! We forgot about eyehook & will go back and pay. Otherwise, so unprofessional! Tina forgot about the appt. She was rude & rushing us during the appt. Her husband staring & making us all uncomfortable. Not giving us a quote on what it would cost. Then to call & blame us for not turning out the lights(her & her husband locked up the store right after us)interrupting her cooking and not telling her it was a consultation, At least 5 times we told her. Tina lost our business. We will NEVER go back.

amazing work, came to her with a wedding dress i needed hemmed, bustle and taken out a bit, with a wedding date in about 2 weeks, Tima had it done in about 5 days and it was PERFECT! the dress looked GORGEOUS, i couldn’t have been happier and the look on my husbands face when he seen my walking down the aisle was priceless! would definite recommend to anyone needed any type of alteration!

I have been to Tina's several times for alterations. Always excellent work, and ready when she says it will be. I can't say enough good things about her - I would give her 10 stars ! Thank you Tina!!
