Par Excellence. I travel frequently and never have I had such a wonderful experience. The seats were comfortable and spacious. The conversation was light and worldly - I sat next to an artist. Everyone I encountered was extremely courteous and helpful. I would have taken pictures but that would have only cheapened the moment. The bus fares are a little steep, but it is money well spent. The Station is conveniently located, directly across from Quinnz Pinz, formerly Middletown Lanes - I spent many a childhood night in there. (pre non-smoking laws) but I digress. Bravo to the Middletown Shortline!

The female with the wrist cast is a racist POS towards white people. She said to swipe my card, but I noticed it had an opening to insert the chip on my debit card, so i politely explained i have a chip so should i insert it accordingly...then spewed out "it must be genetics for ya'll having trouble following directions"...like really? Its 8 in the morning and i asked a completely legitimate question, if i was spiteful id be calling the BBB (better business burea) because someone like her is NOT deserving of a job that pays her so she can put food on her table and a roof over her head.

ONE WORD AWFULLLLLL The older woman at the Middletown office is racist toward white people She is VERY nasty She has given me wrong info Hung up the phone abruptly and has not a clue of any customer service I have has to take a cab twice because of her One driver said she is a nasty person who causes the police to be there at the station weekly The other driver said he gets much more business because people refuse to take the bus because of her.I have called Coach Bus and they do nothing Do yourself a favor TAKE THE TRAIN
Plus this bus station is in an AWFUL neighborhood

Horrible service with the attitude's of employee's just as horrible. Never answers phone calls.

Shortline bus Terminal in Monticello, New York is the worst! I am going to call in the AM and hopefully speak to a supervisor. Do not think it will make any difference though. They have terrible customer service, and need to know that people will not tolerate their rude and unprofessional attitudes.

SHORTLINE SURVIVAL KIT - earplugs, noise reducing headphones, oxygen mask, air freshner, t-shirt (for when its an oven on the bus), thermal blanket (for the other times when its freezing on the bus), lice and bedbug spray for seats, toilet seat covers (in case you are so desperate you absolutely must use the bus toilet - otherwise avoid at all costs), hand sanitizer, camera (to document any passenger physical altercations (that happen periodically), food (for those frequent late departures and/or late arrivals), water, roary beads or other spiritually supportive item(s). Drivers never make a welcome aboard/informational/policy announcement; no clearly stated cell phone policy leads to many passenger altercations about the use of phones and music devices (the noise level at times is intolerable) Prior to entering bus say the Serenity Prayer 10x and continue throughout duration of trip. Avoid this bus co if possible - ie car pooling. On top of it all they cahrge $60 for a rdtp NY to Monticello NY (I travel NY to Boston on a decent bus with good service for under $30.00) - They have no competition so they don't care.
