Dollar Power

I went in there since I was in the area and needed straws for the kids. While I'm in there there were planners and I realized I actually needed one. The sign clearly said that they were 1.00 unless they were marked. There were 20+ planners of the same kind not marked and the lady rang it up for a lot more. How are $1.00 straws and a $1.00 planner adding up to $4 and change!? I questioned it immediately and there were 3 ppl behind the counter. One just sat there and shook her head when I told her that it was posted there. I asked for a manager and they told me he wouldn't be in until the following day. I took one of the employees to show her that all of them that I chose from were $1.00 at the end cap. She said I know when she looked at them and said she couldn't give it to me for $1.00 even though that's exactly what the posted signs said. I left my items there and walked out. Found a dollar tree across the way to purchase the straws I needed. Will never walk into that place again and don't recommend others do so either. Very apathetic staff who like to charge what they want even when the pricing is clearly stated! Buyer beware!!!
