Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Oral Surgery
Local Anesthesia: The patient remains totally conscious throughout the procedure. A local anesthetic (e.g. lidocaine) is administered in the area where the treatment is to be performed. Local anesthetic is used in conjunction with the other methods of anesthesia in all oral surgery procedures.
Jaw Surgery
We will refer you to an oral and maxillofacial surgeon to perform your corrective jaw surgery. Usually performed in a hospital, the surgery moves your teeth and jaws into the proper position.
