Dr. Stanley Silverblatt is a caring physician who strives to give each patient the best care possible. He engages each of his patients one on one and creates a partnership to create solutions together. He empowers his patients to be more in control of their own health. After completing his undergraduate studies at Princeton University, Dr. Silverblatt received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh Medical School in Pennsylvania. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he was also a teaching fellow. His background includes experience as a Heart Disease Control Officer for the United States Public Health Service.In addition to being a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine, he is also an accomplished author with publications including Post-Nephrectomy Arterial Venous Fistula, Unusual Complications, JAMA, November, 1967, Subclavian Artery Stenosis, Case Reports, Journal of Florida Medical Association, 1974, and Hotel Doctor, Memoir of 10 Years as a Hotel Doctor, Diplomat Hotel, Hollywood, Florida, 2008. Dr. Silverblatt has a specialized interest in preventative medicine, as well as diet and exercise. In his free time, he enjoys a very active lifestyle, incorporating swimming and weight training into his daily routine. Leading by example as a senior himself, he encourages his senior patients to embrace a health-oriented lifestyle through diet modification and appropriate exercise.
