Our earliest clients were principally from Latin America, primarily Colombia and Venezuela. The firm's practice has now expanded, and we represent clients from countries throughout the world. Our principal office is located in Miami, Florida, with affiliate relationships in Colombia, Mexico and Venezuela. Our firm's lawyers have extremely diverse backgrounds. We are fluent in the languages and are familiar with the cultures of our clients' native countries. Our attorneys speak Spanish, Portuguese, German and French. More importantly, we have lived, studied and worked in Europe and various Latin American countries. We not only speak the languages conversationally, but are able to negotiate and draft legal documents in these languages. Lawyers of the firm have been employed by the United States Government, both in Washington D.C. and overseas, with foreign governments, and with international organizations. When a transaction involves foreign law, the firm can call upon lawyers throughout the world with whom it maintains close relationships.
