Dadeland MRI & CT

Arrived on time and had to wait 2 hours

Very friendly staff. For years has been the ONLY MRI & CT facility I use.

I went to Dadeland MRI & CT to have a brain MRI done on 7/19. It was a very short notice for a stroke scare, and they got me right in. The entire staff was very friendly, explained what the process was going to be like, and showed genuine concern and care. I'm a bit of a techie, and the MRI machine was fascinating. It was explained to me that I had to lie completely still to get clear images, which was probably the toughest part for me, as each time I swallowed I felt like my head was going to move out of place. When they brought me out momentarily to inject me with the contrast dye, they explained what I was going to feel. The person who injected me took great care with the needle, great hand! This was my first experience there, but my mother had been to the location for an MRI of her leg in early 2013. She was the one who recommended the place to me. Her experience was A+ as well!

This is the worse free standing diagnostic center in Miami. They have no idea how to bill and end up tricking the patient into paying more money. They have no money to even buy robes for the patients and by 6pm they reuse the robes previous patients had in the day without washing. The MRI and CT machine is the worse quality in the area with terrible images and poor technological advances. I would never recommend this facility to a friend or family member.

My experience on January 6, 2012 is quite contrary to the previous review. The staff was quite friendly and professional as before. Although MRI's take a long time to complete, I was comfortable and on my way withing two hours. I have had MRI's before and this is by far the best place I have been for it.
