The Shore Club

I liked staying at this hotel; they had an awesome trendy atmosphere, the staff was relatively nice and the pool parties are amazing! The rooms are very clean; but can be small, and try to get a room with an ocean view. The only downside is this place is super expensive, and like most places in Miami Beach they charge an 18% gratuity on everything..

My partner and I booked a night at this hotel and were greeted by a rude staff and a urine puddle on the floor in our room. When we approached the staff about it we were not offered a resolution and left the hotel. We have contacted the corporate office several times about this issue and the puddle has now been blamed on us. We were in the hotel for less than an hour and charged for a full stay.



This is a horrible hotel. AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS! There are much nicer, cleaner, and friendlier hotels in the SOBE area for the same price if not less.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for his birthday. Before reading further, let me start off by saying it wasn't an absolute horrible experience... It did have its positives and my boyfriend and I DID generally leave happy. However, there were some negative aspects to it. For starters, my check in time was at 4 o'clock. When I went to the front desk to get my room, the woman told me it wasn't ready yet (not her fault, but the actual woman at the front desk was a real sweetheart and kept me updated on the room at all times). It wasn't until 6:00 until we actually got our room. We had dinner reservations at 8 and we were hoping to take a nap before we ate...Well, that didn't happen.



When we actually got into the room, it had a nice comfortable feel to it. It had a modern look to it, clean, white, nice, a beautiful view of the beach. But then we looked at the floor and it was kind of a turn off... It looked like concrete tile, and it was still wet from where the cleaning lady cleaned it. There was also an area by the bed where one of the tiles were loose! I tripped on it a couple of times....



One thing that both my boyfriend and I really did enjoy was the actual bathroom setup. It had a nice tub, and the shower was next to the bath...Which I thought was unusual, but liked the concept.



We had fun by the pool as well. Something was going on there that day. Despite the party that was going on downstairs, the noise didn't bother me one bit and I had a comfortable sleep at night (and I'm a light sleeper. Every little thing wakes me up).



Would I stay there again? 'eh... It's questionable. I really did enjoy the rooms, minus the soaked concrete floors when entering. I would consider going there again, but they will really need to do something about getting the rooms ready in time. And maybe do something about the tile! If I'm paying 300 a night for a room, I expect pretty close to perfection... Sorry. Especially if I'm taking a loved one there for his birthday.
