The Terraces At Metairie II

We had a really unfortunate experience here. Everything seemed decent originally, but after living there over a year I couldn't wait for the chance to leave. From the smell of pet urine and sewage backup, to manipulation and trickery from the managers, it can really turn into an uncomfortable place to inhabit. There are plenty of options in the area with reasonable prices, maybe move somewhere out of this area because my truck was keyed and my girlfriend's car was broken into. I love my new place, feels good when you feel comfortable there and want to call it home. Keep looking, I am not from here so I wish someone would have given me this advice.

My experience at this place was horrible. Our A/C was out for 3 months in the middle of summer, anywhere from 85-90 degrees at night. You could not even think of cooking in there. Everytime I called they would come eventually, add collant, tell me it was fixed, and 24 hours later it was 85+ again. Eventually they got tired of me complaining about the AC and began to be very abusive towards me. I called the 24 emergency hot line one night when it was unbarable and not only did I not get any help, but I got a call from danielle cursing and screaming at me like she had a few too many drinks that evening. My lease was up and I left, AC still doesn't work.



They treated me horribly and I think they prey on people and abuse them because they feel they can and there is nothing a tenant can do about it. When speaking to Daniele about some of my neighbors she made rather derogatory comments about Mexicans and African Americans to me. (I'm white).



I was so thrilled to get out of this place, I left as soon as possible. The front desk people are horrible, the maintenance people are not much better, but these people prey on people and later try everything they can squeeze way more money out of you than you were lead to believe.



DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PEOPLE. Owned by some out of town corporation who could give a care about us locals.

I just chose to renew my lease with Terraces II for another year. After living 12 years with Terraces II, id have to say my residency has been anything but ordinary. I have seen it rise from your everyday complex to much more than i could imagine! The are having a contest right now to see who has the scariest halloween door decor..... FOR MONEY!!! I HOPE I WIN!!!
