Mesquite High School offers various educational programs and services to students in grades nine through 12, and is a part of Mesquite Independent School District. The school offers various programs, such as art club, athletic training, band, cheerleaders, chess club, choir, class officers, crime stoppers, decathlon, destination imagination, drama, drill team, French, German, Spanish and international clubs, journalism, and Latin and marine aquatic science clubs. Its program offerings additionally include National Honor Society, newspaper, orchestra, peer assistance, senior bash, special education club, speech and debate clubs, step team, student council, technology students association, volunteer program and yearbook. It offers students courses in various subject areas, such as art, business, computer science, English, family and consumer science, foreign language, mathematics, music, physical education and healthy living, science, social studies, special education and technology. The district s schools also offers various sports programs, such as basketball, baseball, hockey, soccer, football soccer, volleyball, swimming, track and filed, cross-country and cheerleading.
