Provided by DexKnowsThere is not a low enough score for Terri's. Absolute thieves.We consigned an expensive bedroom suite and it sold within our contract time-frame. Never received our payment check - kept calling and was told each time that they needed to "pull up our contract and call us back" or that our check "would be sent out the beginning of next week". Not only did we never receive our payment, Terri's filed bankruptcy (again) all while continuing to keep their stores open.Stolen goods.
The store is so big, I set a lot of time aside to look through everything. The store is well-kept and the staff are helpful and friendly.
I don't know why anyone would not at least check this store out first, before going anywhere else! I was looking for a dining room set (just moved in to a new place with my family and wanted something I could have for years - something the kids would fight over when they got older!), and I found the PERFECT SET. It's a Thomasville set with a china hutch. Both the table with 8 chairs and 3 leaves AND the hutch, cost me right around 2000. This was a $7000 set - in perfect condition!! My husband was so happy we saved so much money that he and I went back the next day and he found his "Daddy Chair" - full leather club chair for $450!!! I love this place and will tell everyone about it! (Oh - the people were so helpful and friendly! And they didn't push us at all!) Go there! You won't be sorry you did! Thanks for reading this post!

Provided by DexKnowsI have been through all of the new Terri's and they are all great!I enjoy going through the stores and find wonderful treasures to purchase. The staff are friendly and knowledgable with the inventory.I found the Scottsdale store very clean and friendly!I even reconmended my own mother to the stores to shop too. If you ever find your way to a Terri's go on in and have a day full of fun!

Provided by DexKnowsI used to love this store and I got some wonderful bargains on really nice furniture here over the years. They had a great selection and things turned over frequently. They have now sold the name and the stores are under new ownership. We've been in twice since the transition and the merchandise is now thoroughly dreadful. Everything in the store was dilapidated, poor quality, dirty, and badly dated. What a shame to see this great store turn into an indoor yard sale.

Provided by DexKnowsThey sold over 9 large furniture items over a YEAR AGO and I have heard nothing at all. Our family sold these furniture pieces because we are having money problems. Now we have nothing for all the furniture and lost all of that money to this point. I dont understand how they remain open and still selling peoples things without paying anything back!!!!!!!!

Provided by DexKnowsI consigned a whole house full of furniture with Terri's in July 2009 and have not heard one word from them. I sent a certified letter requesting a list of the items they sold, the sales price and any donation receipts they received so I can prepare my taxes. The letter was returned by the Post Office as not deliverable, no one would sign for it. I will file a complaint with Attorney General.

Provided by DexKnowsI also consigned furniture for over $1000 in July. All items were sold according to the Scottsdale store. Terri's sent out a letter in September saying they are having financial problems and cannot pay any of their customers. I now cannot get a return phone call.

Provided by DexKnowsFurniture that I consigned to Terris was sold in May and June of this year. It is now mid-October and I have not been paid my share of the proceeds. Furthermore, I have not been able to reach anyone at Terris (despite numerous calls and emails) who will address my problem. I understand that there are many other people who have had similar experiences.
Beware, your furniture will fall into a black hole never to be seen or heard from again. Sell it at a garage sale or donate to a charity of your choice. I hate to even give them one star!

Provided by DexKnowsTerri's must be going under. Warning, DO NOT CONSIGN YOUR ITEMS. i HAVEN'T gotten paid for my consignments for 4 MONTHS. They refusue to pay anything ofer $100.00. DO NOT CONSIGN WITH THEM.
