I am absolutely satisfied with my time with the merrillville of David's Bridal. The entire staff was extremely helpful and made my day as easy as it could be. Special thanks to Todd and Tia for their help and expertise in assisting me with my gown descisions. You guys rock! Xoxo

I had a very positive experience at David's in Merrillville. Both Lyndsey and T were very genuine and accommodating. I couldn't have asked for nicer and more helpful associates assisting me before my big day. Thank you SO much!

The new manager Julie Carpenter is truly turning around some things in the store. Make an appt for a tour and meet Julie and her Stylists both new and old.

Good streetlength bridesmaid dresses (4 stars) under $100



Good elegant, simple satin bride dress (sale price about $350) (4 stars)



But...WAY OVERPRICED alterations (about $340) for my tall, slender daughter who fit the floor model well. (1 star)



AND I still had to add wide folded satin strips to widen the shoulder straps---as it still hurt my daughter when she wore it (1 star) Did this alteration the night BEFORE the wedding.



ALSO they merely super-tightened the waist of this dress...instead of using boning to help hold up this lovely, somewhat heavy all satin dress. (1 star). Daughter was scared she would faint. (She probably lost weight so she was fine at wedding.

This branch will NOT answer their phone. They either let it ring until they hang up on you or they hang up on you altogether.

I had to call another store and beg them to call Merrillville store so I could have my dress shipped to my home.

I have never had a business just pick up their phone only to hang up on you.

I gave them one star but thats a negative one star.
