Caring Corner, LLC is a multifaceted, multicultural, social service agency providing family and individual therapy, parenting training, adoption support, foster care support and crisis intervention. We provide three major in-service components to companies and organizations.Greetings and allow me to introduce myself. I am the Psychologist on staff of The Caring Corner. I have been on board since December of 2006, and it has been an enlightening, edifying rewarding experience.I received my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Jackson State University, Jackson Mississippi. I earned my Master Of Arts Degree in Psychology from Governors State University, University Park, Illinois.Prior to The Caring Corner I was a Psychologist for Gary Community School Corporation for thirteen years. Before I came to Gary I was employed as an elementary school teacher for the Chicago Public Schools.I am currently employed as a School Psychologist in Suburban Illinois. Basically I have spent my adult working life working with children, and it never gets old.Music is also a very special part of my life. I am Minister of Music at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church located at 740 South Sacramento Blvd. in Chicago Illinois.It is the mission of the Caring Corner to provide quality services through training, counseling, education, support, insight and resources.Our services promote stability and productivity, increase emotional health and encourage well being.
