Piano Lessons

I am writing to highly recommend Ms. Brenda Johnson as an outstanding piano instructor for children. We have three children, now 6, 8, and 10 years old, who have been taking piano lessons from Ms. Johnson for two years going on three. Thanks to her, our children are learning and experiencing the joy and gratification of reading and playing music on one of the world’s most beautiful and sophisticated musical instruments. Ms. Johnson is perfect as a piano teacher for children. She has obtainable expectations for her pupils, gives highly professional/rigorous lessons, and provides praise and constructive criticism only when they are deserved. Thanks to Ms. Johnson, our children enjoy playing the piano and look forward to each lesson. They are given homework assignments, which she grades each subsequent lesson. We were especially delighted when Ms. Johnson organized public recitals in downtown Merced, because the formal event impressed upon our children that our society places great value on being able to play the piano. The recitals inspired our children take their lessons much more seriously, especially as the date of their performances neared. Our children take lessons from Ms. Johnson weekly for the most part. Scheduling lessons with her by e-mail is quick and convenient, and she has a comfortable waiting area in her home. In conclusion, we could not be happier having Ms. Johnson as our piano teacher.
