Great steaks and brats, we have lived in Florida for the last 5 years and have not been able to have a great steak since we left Wisconsin. Karl's packed and shipped us the best steaks and brats we have had in 5 years.

This place is fantastic! Everything here is top-notch, including the people! Too bad some people can't add, much less spell (LtDarkstar2). This place got wrongly accused by a dis-gruntled employee. Everyone in my family and many friends bring our venison here every year. We have NEVER felt as though we did not get all of our meat back. My father worked at a meat market his whole life and said it was amazing how many deer hunters think they shot an ELEPHANT. The farther they drag them through the woods, the heavier they got! They sure look big laying there, but once he explained to them that they are hollow in the middle and put them on a scale, they realized their ignorance. And then you get the guy who shoots the deer 5 times through the best parts, and when he does not get back what he expected accuses the butcher of stealing his meat! And who in the world would want the meat anyways? Not knowing how well it was taken care of, possibly gut shot, dragged through the mud, dirt and leaves, left out in the sun, etc. These people should butcher a deer once themselves, then maybe there would be less of this ignorance!

I had sausage made here in the past from my deer and for the most part it was good, until this year. The one big thing that I have always had a problem with here is when you get brats or italian sausage made the sausage is always smashed in the package. The fist link and the last link are always open and smashed. So every package of sausage you get two links are junk. (There is only four or five in a pack)



I am a big fan of their summer sausage especially the Hungarian, though this year when I picked my sausage up there was a couple of issues that did not make me very happy. First off, the sausage was made original instead of Hungarian. The second problem and most disturbing was that the sausage was at least 50% FAT!! This was completely disgusting!! I cut one of the sausages up for new year's and not one person had a second piece if they would even try one because most people could see the amount of fat in it.



I do not know what happened this year but I know that I will never go back again!!

came to karl;'s one sunday for a pound of ham and six free rolls. really didn't care for either. will stick to the italian bakery in the falls. tried some other meat products which were ok. for me nothing special.

Oh PLEASE. They are wonderful people who steal from no one. Who wants the frickin' deer of a person who can't even spell thieves. It is terrible that someone is telling people not to shop at this place. Pox on you!

My father went hunting and brought his deer here for processing. We later found out they stole all of the backstrips from the deer (best and most expensive cut of the deer). They stole alot of deer meat from alot of people and all they got was a slap on the wrist after many years of stealing from customers. I'm sure they still steal since they realize there is little penalty for what they pulled and I’m sure they turn a nice profit by selling the stolen meat. I would never give this place a CENT and I’m not sure why people still shop here after they were charged for ripping off HUNDREDS of deer hunters. I'm shocked they weren't shut down after that fiasco. DO NOT SHOP HERE! YOU ARE FUNDING THEIVES!

Best sandwiches and homemade cookies around. I also bought some summer sausage to take back to Alabama and some special hot sauce. They seem to have everything you could want. The service was exceptional. There is also a garden center next door and I got a tray of herbs to bring home also. Thank you to all who helped us make our selections.
