Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Dr. Douglas Hart graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary in 1977 with a M.Div. degree, and from Fuller Seminary Graduate School of Psychology in 1984 with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. Between degree programs he was a school teacher in New Mexico, which contributed to his current interest in student assessment for learning disabilities and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
Stress Management
John has worked with children and adolescents in residential and outpatient settings. John also has experience with trauma, addiction, anger and stress management, depression, anxiety, marital and family conflict, and life transitions. Based on the needs of the client, John utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Play Therapy, and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy. John also has considerable experience with college planning for families and students from his previous career in higher education.
