When I went in to the facility I was greeted immediately. Registration was efficient and painless. I was waiting less than 10 minutes and I was called in to have blood pressure, medical history, and other details recorded. Within 5 minutes of that procedure I was being seen by a PA, Kathryn Falco.

Kathryn was exceptionally thorough in her discussion of my problem, asking numerous relevant questions to be sure she understood my complaint and the history that led to it. She was professional, friendly, and was able to put my concerns to rest in an empathetic manner. There was an air of professionalism and confidence about her that greatly helped in reassuring me that what I thought was a possible severe problem was not.

Kathryn was also able to co-ordinate orders for tests with my Primary Care doctor and was able to explain the mechanics of my receiving test results in a clear and straightforward manner.

My expectations on this visit were far exceeded. Emurgent Care is adequately staffed with competent caring people at all levels, and is a direct contradiction to the common and all-too-well-founded opinion of "Doc In a Box" facilities. I am quite glad that I went there today and regret only that I cannot use them as a Primary Care option.
