Don't waste your time going here! I went in early on a Saturday morning. I was awaken by a severe sore throat. I wanted to get quick treatment so I didn't miss any work on Monday. Rapid strep was negative.((This occurs often) (Did I mention I told Doc I was exposed to STREP by 2 different sources?) ) You just have a virus! Go home and get sicker! (Yep, that is what Doc said.) By Sunday I was running a 102 fever and couldn't swallow. Monday the fever was 103, couldn't talk or swallow. Went to family doctor. My whole head was infected, ears, sinuses, nasal passages swollen and didn't even bother with Strep screening as I needed antibiotics ASAP! And guess what else....I missed 2 days of work! Geee....I am a middle aged women only wanting antibiotics, not painkillers! Give me a break!
