America's Best Value Inn

We recently stayed at the America's Best Value Inn in McPherson. It was disguisting and were completely taken advantage of. For starters, the front desk clerk increased the room rate when we returned from writing our vehicle information for check-in. The room itself had many issues. The liner in the bathtub was peeling up and a safety hazard for our children. The front desk man never came to repair as promised. There were dead bugs, old food and a c**dom wrapper on the floor. There was moldy caulk around the bathtub. And the safety door in the back of the hotel would not close or lock so anyone could come in at any hour. Do NOT stay at this hotel if you value sanitary conditions, friendly staff or safety....find another place to stay.
