        Dr. Helen Kim-James is certified by the American Board of Dermatology. She was born and raised in Dallas. A graduate of Southern Methodist University, she also studied at Oxford University and performed research at Seoul National University under a grant from the National Science Foundation. Dr. Kim-James earned her M.D. from Washington University School of Medicine. She completed her internship and dermatology residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital affiliated with Washington University. Dr. Kim-James has served as a Clinical Instructor in dermatology at Washington University. Dr. Kim-James is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and American Society for Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Surgery.

        Dr Helen Kim-James is very thorough and knowledgeable!

        I met the Dr back in Sept 2017 and she met my concerns with a precancer spot. Today she answered questions and gave me great advice with the spot returning. We also discussed future botox plans, age spots, etc. She is a delight and I feel very comfortable with her.

        Jacqueline Castagno was so friendly when I met her, and I felt comfortable with her right away. She is very knowledgeable and knew exactly what I needed.

        She spent time with me (unlike other drs I have gone to) and made sure I felt comfortable with everything we discussed.

        I am planning on making appointments to bring my children and husband to see her in the future.

        amazing experience

        I just finished my appointment with Dr. Kim James. She was so patient with me to help address all my concerns. She listened and we came up with a plan of action to help with my situation.
        The staff was extremely friendly and there was little wait time to see the Dr.
        I will be recommending Dr. Kim James and Chesterfield Valley Dermatology to all my friends and family.
