This automotive service is a fraud, theu claimed to do work on my car and did nothing according to my personal mechanic becuz I used their service while I was in VA, the brand new parts I purchased from their provider was never put on and the mechanic there broke the rubber pieces to the original struts I still currently have on my car. Shutting Lawson's automotive down is a must!!!!!!

I read the previous review and all I can say is that my experience was different. I was traveling through the area when my vehicle broke down. I waited till the morning till they were open, and Jennifer (front desk) and Allen (tech) were very friendly. I walked Allen through the issue I was having, he did a quick inspection and said he would put it up on the lift for further examination. Once he had it up, we both looked at the problem and agreed on the repair that was to be performed. As a professional mechanic, it was very pleasant to deal with someone as professional as Allen. 2 hours later, my vehicle was fixed and I was very happy with the repairs. I am still traveling, and I have had no other issues with my vehicle.

The shop is a bit hidden, but its worth the search. I would definitely recommend them and next time you need service ask for Jennifer and Allen.

Sorry I can't give them a zero. Traveling home on Christmas vacation when car had a problem and went to this shop. After the "Fix" car had same problem. Drove car back. I was told sorry we don't fix transmissions. Well that is what you repaired and charged me for.



Ended up with car at another shop. They put in the wrong part and didn't hook the wiring up because they couldn't because it was the wrong part and the plugs would not match.
