Golden Corral Restaurants

regardless of the lake of food and the poor service i had, they get mad at me when i filled tge survey that came with the receipt. a cocky manager called me next day and she claimed that it was not acceptable and she will fix everything and even prmised to mail me coupons to make up for the inconveniences, (i have 2 calls!!) and i could tell that she is a liar from her voice tone. 10 days later, nothing happened, so i give her a call back and she played southern dump!, it looks like this is the golden corral policy in the south; provide poor service/food and hire non qualified managers. that's the second store in the area that i had issues with.

Golden Corral has a great breakfast. They have cheese grits and regular grits. The bacon is not always completely done esp when they are busy. The sausage is ok they have links patties. It's not hot. The eggs are ok except you have to sorta scrambling them. The only Thing they cut breakfast when people still want to eat breakfast instead of lunch. The lunch and dinner is ok. The meatloaf is really good except they cut it to small. Some of the vegetable taste like they come out of the can. The salad bar is pretty good. The devil eggs are ok. The dessert are pretty good. The banana pudding is pretty good. Could use more banana in it. The only Thing if you have food left over is ifhavd pay to take it out by the pound. It is wasting food. I guess the way they make you pay by the pound is people must go and fill up the bar.

Our meal here (with family of 4) was so expensive. We were quoted the wrong price over the phone (it was the lunch price). They had a lot of food but not much diversity in types of food. Everything kept well stocked and clean, though. For the money, though, I would have much preferred Outback or even Cracker Barrel.
