I attended one child birthing class and never went back. They were trying to sell their child birth services (natural birth, water birth, birth not in a hospital). We were asked to share the reason why we chose to take a birthing class. When I said I was taking the class because I have witnessed child birth and I found it scary and gross and now I am scared to give birth. I explained that I was there to learn more about child birth and find a way to cope with my fear. The "class" ran 20 minutes over while all of the other mothers bashed me for expressing my feelings. The "birthing coach" who was teaching the class did nothing to stop the other mothers from attacking me. She was right along with them. The whole operation lacks professionalism.

Not too bad.. Doctors there will work in a pinch.
