Absolutely the worst place for recovery you can go. Now relapse, this is the place!! I have been a patient of Aegis for years and got up to 135 and they would have taken me higher had I not lied and said that I do eat within 15 minutes of dosing... I didn't but that is their criteria plus if you don't sleep through the night I wasn't a good sleeper that will get you more methadine than you can imagine... Do yourself a favor... say you eat and sleep well or risk an addiction worse than anything you ever had before! They make you see the doctor each time you want to go down, they want to keep you addicted and paying big $$$ so they make it VERY inconvenient to get off. Finally.. they don't care if you have a job and need to get to work... You are so disrespected... One of the counsellor s is the worst, a former addict and hooker, if your a woman go elsewhere but if your a man she doing anything but s your d... to help you... sorry babe the world is made up of both men and women! The most uncompassionate person of all and don't ever, ever miss an appointment and that includes hospital stays... You will receive no mercy whatsoever... You will never ever get more than 6 take homes and they will call you in for a bottle check... God help you if you travel for work... You will have All take homes taken... Stay clear of S... and C Counsellors or better yet go to the other clinic in the bad part of town but at least they treat you with respect, and dignity... screw up and there will be consequences... anyone can understand this...Workers are treated well and you don't need to lose your job to go there unlike Aegis who has no respect for workers.. I thought the whole point of recovery was becoming a productive member of society, not so with Aegis who doesn't care if you have a job and must get to work in fact, you will likely lose you job because in the 2 years they have never dosed on time not even once. The dosing Nurse needs her breakfast before she will dose you!
