Healing Garden Wellness Centre And Spa

Poor customer service. I made an appointment for a facial @ 10:00 on Thursday, but when I arrived there was no one there. I attempted to call several times and kept getting the voice mail. I eventually got a call back, and was told that they do not perform facials on Thursday. Really!!!!

If anyone is reading this review, Please save your money and go elsewhere... I wished I saw the previous reviews from Kudzu.com before I bought 2 vouchers from Groupon. I've scheduled 2 appointments for Saturday at 11:00 but when I arrived, the office was closed... (Saturday office hours 10:00-3:00pm). I called and left 3 messages... Lessons learned for me, do not buy discounted tickets and pre-paid in advance through 3rd party (Groupon) because if there's any dispute it's too much of a hassle to get your money back (if any). I just threw away $138 (2 packages: 2 - 90 minutes message). I could have gone to a well established message place (Spa Sydell or similar)...

It doesn't look like much from the outside but the inside is clean, it smells nice and has a calming atmosphere.

My mom and I both had the swedish massage and express facial. I enjoyed my massage very much, the therapist had a great technigue and flow with her movements. The facial was good. I prefer no gloves during facials but every therapist is different.

If I had a recommendation for the spa, it would be to invest in some robes. In between our services, moving from one room to the other, I was in a small gown. Freezing to say the least. Also, I know it's a small spa but there is no sitting area to wait for the next service. I had to watch the aesthetican make her bed for my service.

Overall I did enjoy my experience and it was relaxing. I will go back for another massage.
