General Moving Carriers made an otherwise hectic move very easy. 

We moved from a big house to three locations and still everything went very smoothly. 

I cannot say enough good things about everyone who represented General Moving.

They were honest, efficient, helpful, careful and considerate.

After having a terrible move from California to New Jersey with a different company, I was really concerned about this move.

But, everyone from General Moving Carriers involved- Jake, Pete, Melvin, Ricky and Cory have been wonderful to work with!

After reading reviews for this business, I was skeptical that a moving company could receive so many positive reviews. I moved from West Orange, NJ to Manhattan right after Christmas. For me, moving has always been a cumbersome process but I used General Moving Carriers and felt compelled to write a review of my own. My foreman's name is Miguel and I couldn't have asked for better movers. Miguel was knowledgeable, his team was thorough and they did it all with a smile. They worked so quickly that they were done 30 minutes before the allocated time! They made sure to inspect every inch of my furniture beforehand and let me know if they saw any cracks or marks. Once they set everything up in my new apartment to my satisfaction, I could see no new damage at all. They thoroughly wrapped every piece of furniture and handled everything with care, even my heaviest furniture was moved carefully and without complaint. It was important for me as a single women to go with a moving company where I felt comfortable with the work crew. All of the guys were courteous and respectful at all times. I honestly could not be more pleased with the work Miguel and his team did for me and would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again. Believe the reviews, they are just that good!

The foreman, Carlos, and his crew Did an absolute amazing job On our 2-day move.

From showing-up early to staying late, they made the move very easy for us.

The team was very costumer focused and listened to whatever we had to say.

We had a lot of valuables, very old furniture in our family (some 200 years old) and the team took great care with each piece.

They set up the furniture and put items exactly where we wanted them so that all we needed to do was unpack our boxes.

We had a lot of books (a ton!) but they moved all of them without a single complaint.

The entire team was courteous, kind, funny, helpful and worked non-stop.

I didn't have to worry about a thing!

The team, led by Rick, was very strategic in how they worked to save time (and saved me money!).
