        Holiday Recreation Center, Inc. is an outdoor child and family focused recreational, educational, and human development business. It operates Mansfield’s Holiday Hill Day Camp, a youth camp licensed by the State of Connecticut and accredited by the American Camp Association, a three-season catered picnic and outing facility, a challenge and adventure ropes course program for team-building, group and personal development, and a summer swim club for area families and individuals. Holiday Recreation Center is located on twenty-five acres of rural-agricultural land on Chaffeeville Road in Mansfield Center, Connecticut. It is three miles south of the University of Connecticut’s Storrs campus, just off of Storrs Road (CT Route 195) that connects UCONN to Windham and the city of Willimantic, site of Eastern Connecticut State University and the EASTCONN Regional Educational Service Center. It borders the Mansfield Hollow Wildlife Area adjacent to Mansfield Hollow State Park. Mansfield’s Holiday Hill Day Camp · The camp provides summer child-care, development, and enrichment opportunities to families with children ages 4-15 years. · It is the only summer camp program in the region that provides daily transportation with supervision of children to and from camp from 29 towns in eastern Connecticut. · It is the only state licensed, American Camp Association Accredited, independent day camp in the region. Parents purchase more than simple child-care when they enroll in Holiday Hill Day Camp.         Our four grandchildren will be attending once again this summer . They range in age from 11-16. All four of them have LOVED their time at Holiday Hill! The oldest being a Jr Counselor this year after participating in the Eagles leadership training program last summer. It is the outstanding staff who make the camp such a great experience for each kid! The kids are treated like they are special and are cared about & this shows in the enjoyment of every aspect of their time there. My gang brought camp home every day sharing stories, songs, funny things that happened and fun things they did. Friends are made, role models are looked up to and they have wanted to go back every year! I believe strongly that Holiday Hill is making them better people and giving them great memories that will stay with them forever.
