Joe's Family Shoe Store

This is a wonderful family owned shoe store. You get personal service without the salesperson being pushy. The owner was very pleasant and introduced me to a brand of shoe that I wasn't familiar with. I liked them so much I went back and bought another pair. They have a great selection and relaxed atmosphere. They aren't open late but they are definitely worth making the time to visit. You won't be disappointed.

Okay I rarely post things on the internet. I was looking at their business hours and came across a lovely little tidbit of a review. So the other reviewer says to go into the store, waste the salesperson's time and then don't bother to patronize them. This is to you SandiSue: you probably do that at stationary stores, clothing stores, and other businesses around St. Tammany. Way to support your local business community that pays hefty taxes that I am sure subsidize your living. Then you have the nerve to give a business a mediocre review when you actually have nothing to say. As a small business owner, I have no polite words for you, SandiSue.

Prices are a little high, but its like a boutique store so its to be expected. This is a good place to try on shoes (find the right size) then just hit ebay and get them a lot cheaper - or if you can just wait then buy'em there!
