Freehold Movers

I hired Freehold Movers in January based on the recommendation of a co-worker and I unfortunately wasn't happy. When Rick came to assess our condo to see how much time/man power he would need, he couldn't have been nicer. However, when the younger guys came to do the job, a couple of them were grumbling about the large about of "$!@#" we had in our basement storage area. I found this to be extremely unprofessional and rude, especially since Rick had already scouted out our condo and they should have known how much we had. My husband and I were extremely careful to box everything up properly and have it taped and labeled so as to make their job easier.



Another thing that really irked me was that when they moved a heavy dresser up the stairs into our new home, they dropped it, ruining the new wood floors in the process. When doing the final walk-through and my husband and I showed the resulting 5-inch long scratch on our floor, the reply was "Well, you already got a good price so we can't take anything off for that." I was appalled. They were the ones who quoted the "good price" to begin with! I think any reputable company would and should have given a discount for their error. Later on, we realized that the dressed drawer was broken and when I called to complain, the woman who answered told me that she would call back to get a repair guy out to look at it. Never happened and I gave up pressing the issue.



Please use caution when using these guys. They may have been great in other jobs and I admit that their prices are decent, but watch them like hawks if you choose to go with them.

I can't say enough good things about Freehold Movers. Their price was reasonable, they showed up on time, worked very hard, took good care of our things and of us. I would definitely recommend them!
