A person I am close to had a appointment there which Social Security made him, to keep his disability. I went with him for support.
Because I was present in the room, the doctor asked ME questions,
which I didn't know the answers to because I am also disabled, my problem being memory due to having a large portion of my brain missing since it was removed when an aneurysm ruptured 7 years ago. Again, I was not the one scheduled to be asked questions, this was my boyfriend's appointment. But... when I explained I did not remember events from 6 years ago, this doctor called me out and ridiculed me for not remembering, asking how that was possible. When I in fact do not remember what I had for breakfast or how old I am or when my own birthday is most of the time. It would have been bad enough had he done this to his patient, but I was not even the patient. Then he had the nerve to try to play mind tricks with me by saying this appointment isn't for me so why am I defending myself. Well, no kidding! This guy is trained and paid to manipulate and gaslight people. It comes so natural to him that he does it to people who aren't even his patients.
