Grapevine Christian Church Grapevine Christian Church Is a Church located in Madisonville, Kentucky. Our goal is to seek the lost and and be a light in our community. The Senior Sunday School class is the oldest class of the church-in more ways than one! Some of the members have been in classes together since childhood and like to say, because of their mature age, their Promotion Day will be when they get promoted to heaven. The members have very close bonds and often before the class starts, spend time chatting about everything from recipes to their health status. The teacher, James Wooton, is sometimes the only man in the class. He is very patient with the "visiting" that goes on before class starts, but encourages the members to dig deep in the truths of God's word and often, together, they discover new revelations and how they relate to the world today. He encourages class participation, which is another way of sharing with each other. They enjoy helping with various projects such as The Christian Food Bank, the Pregnancy Crisis Center and preparing food for church dinners and Vacation Bible School. The GCC men's Sunday School Class, our newest Sunday School Class, features Christian discussion studies that are of current interest to today's men. The book we are currently studying is Tony Dungy's book "Uncommon", a study on what it takes to live a Christian life of Significance.
