Woodman's Food Market

I was recently in Woodman's West in Madison. I had a list of unusual (for me) items to find for a new recipe.
Kevin was stocking in the ethnic aisle and helped me not only find the one item I wanted there but also led me to two other items and gave me storage information on one of the oils.
Thank you Kevin and thank you Woodmans for having helpful employees like this. Made my day.

They have the best selection of items over any of the other grocery stores. Their prices are great and the cheapest, overall. The produce is always fresh and tastes great. My favorite part is that they include a large ethnic food section...which is great for someone who doesn't want to drive all the way over to another grocery store to just get a couple items.

The only issue I have with the store, which obviously can't be helped, is that the place is caotic and hectic. There's always a ton of people there and it can be a challenge manuavering the shopping cart around. So go in with a list of what you need, get it, and get out.

Around the holidays, you might as well have another person with you, have them stand is a checkout line for you while you shop around the store for the items you need cause the lines can be 4-6 carts deep!

But for the best selection and prices, this is definitely the place to go.

This store has the BEST variety, and BEST prices in town!

You can easily get a good workout just going up & down the aisles of this massive store! Great organic/health food section too. They really do have everything, and at prices that can't be beat. However, the produce is generally pretty sketchy, so I would recommend shopping elsewhere for your fruits & veggies.
