I accompanied someone with severe shingles to their office and the receptionist proceeded to basically 'talk trash' about others that came in and after 3 times of saying and spelling the patient's name she still could not get it right which lead to hassles of getting prescriptions filled. When we saw the doc he basically said the patient was overreacting. even though eye was swollen shut and patient had not slept in 3 days The patient and myself were basically scolded by the doctor, being told "if we had come in within the first 48 hours of the sign of rash he could help us".... the patient is a healthy man in his young 30's, we assumed poison ivy , never once did shingles come to mind

So save yourself the unsympathetic procedures of Dr. Hayek at the Madison urgent care, because he didn't have the time to be bothered with our questions about shingles because he was also consulting another patient in the next room, which happened to be the one the receptionist was talking trash about

I was in the Madison er a couple days ago for severe back pain. I couldn't even sit down or lay on the bed. I was crying so hard bc I had already been dealing with this for 12 hours and couldn't take anymore. So I thought when I got to the er I would receive medicine to take the pain away. Well what I got after waiting 45 min was a shot in the hip with demoral. I waited the allotted time for it to kick in and still nothing! I was in even more pain now. I asked the nurse who has blonde hair there to please and ask the dr when he can give something else stronger. She came into my room and told me right in front of my daughter. U know u should thank ur lucky stars bc this doctor doesn't believe in giving narcautics. So u need to sit here and be quite and quit asking for more medication. Yep that's the nice and understanding nurse I got! Lol. NOT
