Middelsex Hospital Urgent Care Madison

This afternoon (Sunday), my 2 yo son woke up complaining of ear pain which escalated very quickly at 410pm. We noticed the clinic was closing at 430 and called to see whether they had a cut off time. We explained that we were hoping to bring my son in for ear pain and the receptionist, Helen, said that if we could get to the clinic by 430 we would be seen. After doing the mad dash with my 2 year old, I pulled into the parking lot at 426 and was at the door by 427 which was locked. Helen came to the door and yelled that they were closed. I explained through the door, that we had just spoken to her, and she stated that they closed at 430. I showed that my phone said 428 and she refused to open the door and let us in. I have the utmost respect for the medical professionals at middlesex and we utilize them as primary care physicians in town. Had Helen said that they only take people who arrive by 425, I would have respected this and not packed up my already ailing son to rush down there.
