Thanks for the heads up on this guy or business....was about to purchase a refrigerator from him but something told me to do a little research on this guy because he wouldn't give me an address...just says I'd have to pick it up at a storage....I asked would he be able to plug it up for me to see if it works and he simply said no, comes with a warranty....lol...I'm a pretty smart handy guy so my instinct told me this was a scam...food thing I decided to look up reviews.

He opened business with me through offer up where he has alot of appliances posted but never posted his business name and when I tried to get the address he told me I could only pick them up and then called me a waste of skin and when I asked him what that meant he told me to google it. Then stopped responding SMH unreal

I bought a washer from him. 2 weeks later, the drain pump stopped working. He said we would have to bring to him or it was a $45 charge so my husband took it to him. He said he would give us another one but charged US $20 for the old one because he said the hinges were broken! Never again will I do business with him and if you're smart, you won't either.

I purchased my dryer from Rick at Ace Appliance and he is a crook! He guaranteed me a 3 month warranty that he refuses to honor. The first dryer he delivered broke in less than 2 days. I have video proof! After weeks of me calling constantly he sent his son to replace it with another dryer than broke less than a week later. When I called he tried to blame it on me by making up random problems with my house (for example, he asked when was the last time I cleaned behind my walls in the laundry room. WHO CLEANS BEHIND WALLS?! And what would that have to do with my dryer not spinnig?!) Now he's trying to charge me for "service calls" (price of which changes by the day) and when I agreed to pay it he said call him the next day to set up a time and the wouldn't answer the phone. He's extremely rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. He's hung up on me at least 5 times and refuses to honor his "warranty".

Scam!!! Rick or Richard Is exactly as the reviewers said: rude, unprofessional, and a LIAR!! Bought fridge off Craigslist that worked great for 24hrs. Been trying to get a replacement, refund, or even a repairman to fix the damn thing and nothing. Says he was looking for a replacement and never called. Had someone call posing as a buyer for a fridge and he all of a sudden has 2!! Do not buy!! Wish I had read reviews beforehand. 0 stars

Rick is incredibly unprofessional and rude. Recommend purchasing your appliances from a reputable business with respectful staff that does not operate out of an Uncle Bob's Self Storage unit (which is not mentioned in any of his Craigslist ads).

The entire set up is SHODDY! RICK is unprofessional, disrespectful and a LIAR! Do not use his service for anything. I found his add on CRAIGSLIST for a dryer for $100. I called and he said that I would have to come to his shop to select my dryer. I told him i would come the next day, and he said call before I came. Be aware that his "SHOP" is in an Uncle Bob's Storage facility on Veterans Memorial Highway. First red flag! He finally came after I waited 30 minutes and I followed him into the gate to the storage units he houses the washers and dryers in. I told him I wanted one for 100 bucks. Of course all of those were gone, but he did have an Almond colored one for $85. I didn't want that one, so I settled on one for $135 and had to let him know what type cord I needed a 3 -or 4-pronged upon my return home. I was to pay upon delivery and the dryer was warranted for 90 days. I did as instructed and he said he would be at my home around 4pm. When he bought the dryer, he removed the old one and installed the new one. No issues. He started the dryer and there was no problem. So I paid him and he left.

The next day I washed a load of clothes and the put them in the dryer and it would heat but wouldn't spin. I immediately called him told him the issue and he said it was spinning when he left yesterday. Which it was...but when you insert clothes in it doesn't. He said it must be the belt. He would come back and replace it later that day. That was at 10 am. At 230 he called and said he would be there at 630. At 730 he called and said he was finishing a repair job and would be able to get to me tomorrow (Monday). I told him I had to work, but agreed to stay home until he delivered around 930 on Monday. At 10 am on Monday he called to say he wasn't going to be able to make it, I told him I had to work the next day and couldn't take off again, and that I was leaving town and wouldn't be back until the weekend. He said he would deliver a replacement dryer on the weekend. I called on my return on Sunday at 10 am. Reintroduced my situation to him again, and asked when he would be able to deliver the dryer to me that day. He said, I'm not. I don't do warranty appointments on the weekend. I reminded him what he told me and he repeated that he doesn't do warranty appointments on the weekend. I asked when I could get the dryer then, and he stated Monday or Tuesday night. I said no...I wanted the dryer today; he asked "what about what told you did you not understand?" He then said he was not going to rearrange his schedule for me....AND HUNG UP. I was floored. But believe it or not, he called me back about 30 mins later and said he would try to come that evening about 7 or so. Needless to say he didn't. But he did call me at 8 am on Monday morning and said he could come at 930. I agreed. I wanted this nightmare to be over. He arrived at 945 or so with a "new" dryer, and removed the old "new” one and installed the replacement. He made sure to tell me upon bringing it in that it had just received and new heater coil and he would have to charge me $10 LOL!!! He cranked it up, and wouldn't you know it would not heat up. It did spin with clothes this time, but no heat. He said he didn't know why it was doing it because the coil was new. Then he said it must be my outlet. I needed to have it replaced, and once I did he would come back and replace it if it still didn't heat. I gave up and said ok.

Later, after my electrician came over took the dryer apart and found the coil was old and broken...in other words, no new coil. I will attach pics so you can see (if possible) the dryer had not been touched inside. I was dirty and full of old lint. The coil was old and there were no hand prints or anything to indicate that someone had recently worked on it.

PLEASE DON’T USE BUY ANTHING FROM HIM OR USE HIS SERVICE. HE IS A CROOKED BUSINESSMAN!
