I cannot express how satisfied I was with the Mako team. Right before Christmas and with a young baby, we were in a serious bind. I had called a couple of other plumbers, and they couldn't be bothered at 6PM on a Friday night. Rich Mako canceled personal plans on a Friday night and came over to assess the damage. He swiftly commissioned a team of his incredible plumbers to work around the clock all weekend to restore heat. The job was much more complex than a boiler replacement, as they had to jack hammer the basement floor and locate / repair the return line. Working in parallel to this, they replaced an old hot water heater, something that I desperately needed. Nearly a week of `14 hour days got the heat back on right in time for Christmas, a personal goal of Rich's as he knew how important it was to my family. He was responsive, texting me and calling me with frequent updates. The quality of the job was top notch. They were clean, professional, and really respectful of our situation. They even came back a couple of times to make small tweaks / educate me on my new system without charging because they cared so much about the success of the project. Tyrone specifically was a great help and someone I really trusted as an expert plumber on the job. I highly recommend Mako Plumbing and will use them moving forward on all jobs, big and small. Description of work:
On the coldest day of December 2016, my boiler caught fire due to a damaged return line and lower water cutoff. After the emergency response team cleared out the area, my home was without heat on a Friday night. I needed a complete replacement of a boiler, a new hot water heater, and a new return line (which was located below the concrete in my basement).

I came home late on a sunday to fine water by my hot water heater. I called 3 local 24 hr emergency plumbers. The only one who called back was Mako Plumbing. They told me they would have a man at my house within 2 hours. When he arrived he was very professional. He checked my heater and found a joint above the heater had a pin hole in it. They did a great job and I would call them again.
