Diesel Diagnostics

Always looking for a good deal, I found a 2004 Chevy for sale, 920 miles away, in Lufkin, Tx. The seller gave me a pretty good idea of what was wrong with it, as it had been sitting for 2 years, so I hustled on down to Lufkin and had the truck towed in to Diesel Diagnostics, after making an appointment the previous day. They jumped right on the job the minute we arrived with the truck! and Dan handed me a short wiring harness and said: "THAT'S what your problem is!!!".

As it turned out, the seller had told me he put a new throttle position sensor in the truck right before it stopped "accelerating" and he parked it 2 years ago.

To our chagrin mice had bitten the harness into 2 pieces, so the "new" TPS literally wasn't even hooked up to the truck!!!

$156 and 45 minutes later and I was down the road and on my way back to Illinois, with my "new" 2004 Chevy!!!!
