Desiree Walisky attended the University of Colorado at Boulder and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. Upon graduation, she worked as a case manager for the Department of Human Services in Otero County, Colorado. Ms. Walisky obtained a Master of Social Work degree with honors from Syracuse University in New York. Since graduating with an MSW, Ms. Walisky has worked as a clinician for several community agencies and hospitals in Syracuse, NY and Lubbock, TX. Ms. Walisky is completing her doctoral work under Dr. Todd Little, Director of the Institute for Measurement, Methodology, Analysis, and Policy (IMMAP). She is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy under supervision of Michael Gomez.
