Founded in 1995, Cuidado Casero Home Health and Hospice is a Medicare- certified agency that offers a range of hospice, wound and home health care services. It is a privately owned and operated corporation that provides more than 50,000 home care visits annually. The agency offers a variety of treatment plans, rehabilitative services and disease-state management programs. Cuidado Casero Home Health and Hospice serves patients in over five counties in north Texas. It provides speech, respiratory and occupational therapies. Its Maternal Child/Postpartum Care program focuses on the health problems that may develop after discharge from the hospital. The program covers immunization schedules and nutrition and sleeping patterns, as well as includes the treatment of hyperbilirubinemia. The agency also offers an educational program for patients who are suffering with HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases.
